♥What is an led power supply (LED driver)?

1. An LED driver is a self-contained power supply that has outputs matched to the electrical characteristics of your LED or array of LEDs.

2. There are currently no industry standards, so understanding the electrical characteristics of your LED or array is critical in selecting or designing an LED driver circuit.

3. LED drivers should be current-regulated (deliver a consistent current over a range of load voltages). Consistent voltage led drivers mainly provide power for low power's led lights such as led strips.

4. LED drivers may also offer dimming by means of pulse width modulation (PWM) circuits or Traic.

5. LED drivers may have more than one channel for separate control of different LEDs or arrays.
